atozed: Hermoine and Harry's physical appearances in the book are described really vaguely compared to Ron (obviously a ginger) so it's probably the specifics just aren't relevant to JK much.

Anonymous¹: The descriptions in the books for Hermoine and Harry's physical appearance are more vague than Ron's, who is obviously intended to be a ginger, so when someone asked JK what she thought of the racebent fanart she just said she didn't mind it. Probably since it's not really relevant to the story.
