BUT, if I had to pick one...Nico is the clear winner. I mean, at least she kept her hair. Being a punk tough girl doesn't mean you need to look like a dyke. There's no greater sin than for a girl to cut her long beautiful hair. Female short hair/boyish haircuts are the worse. Right next to a hot trans girl getting her dick chopped off. Nothing worse I tell ya what.

Ada Wong, Bayonetta and Rebecca Chambers still have a feminine aspect to their hair. Where as girls like Clara and Jack leave that by the way side. But what made them unique is that the look they have wasn't common.
Now every female protagonist has to have a dyke like hair cut, just look at Gwen from Sony's Into The Spiderverse movie. Like I said, if girls have long beautiful hair and they cut it short to something not feminine...it's just a turn off for me.

Gamer gate and moral busy bodies have really taken a toll on the game industry as a whole. Look no further than Apex as the atrocity of female character design in gaming.
Oh, Jill Valentine is another good example of female looking good with short hair. But Jill in RE 5, damn sexy with long hair.
